Reichert Statement on Resignation of King County Sheriff Sue Rahr

Congressman Dave Reichert (WA-8), former King County Sheriff, released the following statement regarding the resignation of King County Sheriff Sue Rahr:

“Sue has been a trailblazer since she started working in law enforcement. I chose her as my successor as King County Sheriff in 2004 not only because of her extensive experience, but because of her character. I wish her the very best in the next phase of her career at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. I know that her skills will add value to the Commission, which will trickle down to all law enforcement agencies in Washington State. I know that she’ll do an outstanding job and I look forward to watching her succeed in yet another venue.”
